Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

Our friend and customer, The Fish Counter, was recently featured on Guy Fieri’s show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

The Fish Counter serves up some of the best seafood in Vancouver, with a focus on local, sustainable, responsibly harvested product. Their approach is closely aligned to that of Organic Ocean, making them one of our favourite customers. They serve the whole community, whether you want enjoy a bowl of chowder at the shop or grab a piece of fish to cook at home.

In this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy tastes their Keta salmon fish and chips, and as Dane says, “the place is known for its fish and chips. I don’t think anybody does it any better”. Also featured is BC bouillabaisse, a hearty fish stew containing clams, mussels, sablefish, coho salmon, pacific cod, sockeye salmon, and ling cod. Guy exclaims, “I’m a big ling fan!” We’re big ling fans too, Guy.
